Company Background
"repeat clients and competitive pricing"
Pierce General Contractors, Inc. is idealized as a young, but professional; small, but innovative; and quality touch, but competitively priced organization. Dedicated to service for a reviving construction industry, this company strives for any repeat customer, growing with its clients.
Since the inception of Pierce General Contractors, Inc. in January of 1990, services have ranged from the construction of Iron Horse Golf Course Clubhouse, complete renovations of different Comerica Bank Branch facilities and new Wells Fargo and EECU Branch facilities, to small work orders.
In the early 1990's, the construction industry in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area was depressed. Still, Pierce General Contractors, Inc. survived on repeat clients and competitive pricing. Today’s market has been plentiful and our staff now includes field supervision and project management. In as much, Pierce General Contractors’ philosophy still stands, repeat clients and competitive pricing.
With the experience gained through hard works in construction, and with the ability to survive the previous droughts in the local construction industry, it is our intent to provide you a level of comfort with our experience and willingness to not only survive, but continually grow in all aspects of the construction industry.
Thank you for your consideration in Pierce General Contractors, Inc.
Owner's Background
Owner and President of Pierce General Contractors, Inc., Michael C. Pierce, has utilized his almost 33 years of experience in commercial construction to help develop various companies in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area.
Since his graduation from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction, Mike has been associated with construction projects ranging from multi-story office complexes to small work order services.
Mike has provided various services for Centex Construction, one of the larger construction companies in the United States. His services ranged from estimating, coordinating subcontractors, Field Engineering services, Office Engineer services, to Project Manager on a $2,000,000.00 interior construction project at Republic National Bank/Dallas.
Due to personal obligations in the Metroplex and not having the ability to relocate, Mike became employed at Texas Constructors, Inc. This company, partly owned by Harwood K. Smith & Partners, was small, but growth oriented. The construction industry at this time was very lucrative in Dallas. Mike's services were Estimator/Project Manager. He had the opportunity to construct a 10-story, a 9-story office structure with 2-level parking garage, and a 3-story office complex.
Provided with the opportunity to be Vice-President in charge of Interior Construction for Julian P. Barry General Contractors, an established company of 54 years, Mike provided all required services to operate a construction company. With an interior division and a shell division, Julian P. Barry could offer a full turn-key, ground breaking to tenant occupancy. During his 6 year service, Mike was awarded over $12,000,000.00 in construction and returned profits each year.
With the experience gained through previous companies and jobs, Pierce General Contractors will continually learn and grow in all aspects of the construction industry.
